Fees

I work with thoughtful, high-functioning adults who are ready to move beyond survival mode and do deep trauma work with EMDR.

Why I set my fees this way:

Trauma and EMDR work ask a lot of you emotionally, mentally, and physically. My fees reflect the time, training, and care that go into each session, as well as the preparation and documentation I do outside of session so your care feels steady and intentional. Many clients use HSA/FSA cards or out-of-network benefits to make therapy more affordable while keeping more choice and privacy. If you’d like to learn more about how private pay therapy works and why I structure my fees this way, you can explore my blog post on private pay therapy [here].

Intake session: 60 min $250
We map out your goals and make a plan.

Standard therapy: ~50–60 min$200
Trauma-informed therapy with EMDR when appropriate.

Extended EMDR: 75–90 min$250–$375
Optional for deeper processing when your nervous system is ready.

Insurance:

My practice is primarily private pay. I’m currently in-network with a limited number of insurance plans and am in the process of transitioning off some panels. Because participation can change, I don’t list specific plans here.

If you’d like to use insurance, please [contact me] so we can check your current benefits together and talk about what’s possible

I’m happy to provide monthly superbills you can submit for possible reimbursement.

I’ll walk you through the questions to ask your plan and help you understand the process so it feels less overwhelming.

Good Faith Estimate & No Surprises Act

If you are not using insurance for sessions (or do not have insurance), you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your mental health care is expected to cost.

This estimate is based on my current fees and the information we have at the time (for example, how often we plan to meet and for how long). It is not a contract or a guarantee of total cost, but it is meant to help you understand and plan for the financial side of therapy.

You can request a Good Faith Estimate from me at any time before starting services or at any point during your work with me.

For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, you can visit the federal No Surprises Act website.

HSA/FSA cards are welcome.

Many clients prefer private pay for the increased flexibility, confidentiality, and ability to focus on their goals rather than insurance limitations. Learn more about private pay therapy here.

If you plan to submit claims to your insurance, I’ll provide a monthly superbill and can offer a simple script of questions to ask your plan so it feels less overwhelming.

It’s completely okay to have questions about the financial side of therapy. We can talk openly about pacing and options so you can make a choice that feels grounded and sustainable.

You’re worth the investment.
