Fees & Insurance
Why I set my fees this way
Trauma and EMDR work ask a lot of you emotionally, mentally, and physically. My fees reflect the time, training, and care that go into each session, as well as the preparation and documentation I do outside of session so your care feels steady and intentional. Many clients use HSA/FSA cards or out-of-network benefits to make therapy more affordable while keeping more choice and privacy.

Many clients prefer private pay for the increased flexibility, confidentiality, and ability to focus on their goals rather than insurance limitations.
Insurance:
I’m currently in-network with:
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Harvard Pilgrim & Tufts (Commercial Plans Only)
Aetna
Insurance participation can occasionally change, so please confirm your benefits with your plan and feel free to ask any questions before we get started.
If you have one of the above, your copay/coinsurance and any deductible set by your plan will apply. I’ll collect your portion at the time of session and bill your plan directly.
I’m out-of-network with other insurers. If you’d still like to work together, I’m happy to provide monthly superbills you can submit for possible reimbursement. I’ll walk you through the questions to ask your plan and help you understand the process so it feels less overwhelming.
Tips to verify your benefits:
Call the number on your card and ask:
“What are my in-network mental health benefits for individual psychotherapy with an LICSW?”
“What is my copay or coinsurance, and do I have a deductible to meet?”
“Is there a session limit or any exclusions I should know about?”
HSA/FSA cards are welcome.
